Duncan Keeble
Managing Director
BEng (Mechanical Engineering), University of Leeds
Duncan is a medical device engineer and entrepreneur with nearly three decades of experience in design, development, and manufacturing. As the Founder and Managing Director of OxDevice Ltd, he specializes in guiding startups and established companies through the critical process of design transfer, ensuring seamless transitions from development to scalable manufacturing.
Throughout his career, Duncan has led multiple product development programs, from early-stage concepts to full regulatory approval in major markets. His expertise includes design control, risk management, regulatory compliance, and manufacturing scale-up, particularly for implantable devices and complex delivery systems. He has extensive hands-on experience in working with contract manufacturers, implementing quality systems, and navigating regulatory challenges.
Duncan will share insights on design transfer best practices, helping innovators assess design readiness, avoid common pitfalls, and successfully transition their medical devices to production.
A Chartered Mechanical Engineer, Duncan is a named inventor on 15 patent families and has a track record of transforming medical device innovations into commercially viable products. Through OxDevice, he continues to support the development of cutting-edge medical technologies, ensuring they reach clinical application efficiently and effectively.
Duncan is a classic car enthusiast who likes to get his hands dirty tinkering with his old Triumph.
Praveen Sagar
Technical Director
Praveen Sagar is a seasoned medical devices professional with over 35 years of experience in the design, development, and manufacture of implantable and minimally invasive biomedical devices. His expertise is centred on sterile invasive diagnostic devices, including optical fibre and electrochemical sensors, an area in which he has led innovation from concept through to manufacture.
Praveen is a co-founder and the Technical Lead at OxDevice Ltd, where he drives the company’s technical strategy, product development, and engineering execution. Over his career, he has worked across both major corporate medical device companies and multiple start-ups, giving him a unique blend of deep technical knowledge and practical, hands-on management experience.
He has led and contributed across all key functions within the medical device industry, including R&D, manufacturing, quality, regulatory, and operations, making him a highly effective leader in translating complex biomedical technologies into clinically and commercially viable products.
Outside of his professional work, Praveen is an avid musician. He plays keyboards and several other musical instruments and is actively involved in music production, reflecting his creative interests alongside his technical career.


Michael Tomlinson
Head of Operations
BSc (Biochemistry), University of Leeds
Michael Tomlinson is Head of Operations at OxDevice Ltd, where he leads manufacturing, quality and facilities across multiple sites and cleanroom environments. With extensive experience in medical device manufacturing, he ensures operations meet the highest regulatory and quality standards, including ISO 13485 and ISO 14644.
Michael is a collaborative, people-centred leader who focuses on building strong teams, developing talent, and creating supportive working environments. He works closely with colleagues across the organisation to continuously improve processes, strengthen quality systems, and enable teams to deliver consistent, high-quality outcomes.
When I’m not working, you’ll usually find me spending quality time with my family. Weekends are all about slowing down, making memories, and enjoying the little things together.
Adrian Jacobs
Programme Manager
Adrian is an experienced project manager with over 30 years in R&D, working across consumer electronics and medical devices for major international companies. He has played a key role in leading a diverse range of complex development programmes, managing multidisciplinary teams and steering technologies from early research through to successful commercial products, contributing to 30 published patents along the way.
With a strong focus on structured delivery and overcoming key technical challenges, Adrian is passionate about using effective project management to turn innovative ideas into practical, high‑value solutions. He is committed to working closely with customers, ensuring that projects not only meet technical requirements but genuinely support their goals and real‑world needs.
Outside of work, he enjoys playing badminton, exploring new technology, and taking part in conservation volunteering.


Hannah Beckett
Quality Manager
Since joining OxDevice in 2018, I have been committed to creating an environment where quality is built through teamwork, trust, and shared responsibility. As Quality Manager, I work closely with colleagues across the business to support, guide, and empower them in delivering work we can all be proud of. I lead and maintain our Quality Management System in line with ISO 13485, ensuring compliance while keeping processes practical and people-centred.
Alongside quality leadership, I also support key financial activities, helping to align operational excellence with responsible business performance. I believe that strong communication, shared accountability, and a clear understanding of both quality and financial impact are essential to sustainable success.
I believe quality is not just about systems and standards — it’s about collaboration, open communication, and a shared commitment to continuous improvement. By fostering strong relationships and a positive quality culture, I help ensure we consistently deliver safe, reliable products that our customers can depend on.
Rhiannon Lassiter
Head of Marketing and Communications

Rhiannon is a holistic marcomms (marketing and communications) strategic manager. She delivers a range of public-facing functions including digital and social presence, conferences and other events, public relations and press, printed material production and customer relationship management messaging.
As Head of MarComms for Kaleidex Group, Rhiannon strategically leads the marketing function for OxDevice and the other business units that are part of the wider group.
Outside work, she writes science fiction and fantasy novels for young adults and teaches a dance fitness class.
